Post Specification

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Support the assigned laboratory courses: 1) Be familiar with the content of the courses; 2) Maintain the laboratory environment; 3) Purchase the instruments and consumables required by the courses;

2. Management of the assigned equipment: 1) Understand the operation principle of the equipment. 2) Compile the operation guide for users；3) Offer basic training to new users; 4) Do the verification, maintenance, calibration to the equipment;

3. Implement relevant resolutions for the labs made by the SSE space planning committee;

4. Undertake other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements:

1. A Master or above degree, major in physics, electronics, chemistry, chemical engineering, environmental engineering or a relevant area;

2. At least 3 years laboratory management or relevant experience in tertiary institutions;

3. Excellent command of both written and spoken English and Chinese, be familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and social media tools (WeChat official accounts);

4. The ability to work independently, show initiative and take full responsibility for completion of tasks;

5. Good team player with strong organizational planning and interpersonal skills.

Salary and Benefits

Salary will be competitive, commensurate with qualifications and experience. Appointments will be made under the establishment of CUHK-SZ and statutory benefits will be provided according to the prevailing labor laws applicable in the PRC. The appointee will be based at the University campus in Shenzhen, PRC.
