SichuanUniversity-PittsburghInstitute(SCUPI)isanewacademicentityjointlyestablishedbytheUniversityofPittsburgh(Pitt)intheU.S.andSichuanUniversity(SCU)inChina.OfficiallyapprovedbytheMinistryofEducation(MOE)ofChinainMarch2014,SCUPIisoneofthefiveinstitute-scalecollaborativeprogramsbetweenleadinguniversitiesintheU.S.andChina.SCUPIstandsoutforitstechnicalfocusonadvancedandsustainablemanufacturingandoffersthreeundergraduatemajorsinIndustrialEngineering(IE),MechanicalEngineering(ME),andMaterialsScienceandEngineering(MSE).ThecurriculaatSCUPIisbasedonPitt’sSwansonSchoolofEngineering’scorecurriculumandtheyareinstructedinEnglish.ThefirstclassofSCUPIstartedinfall,2015.
四川大学匹兹堡学院是由四川大学与美国匹兹堡大学合作新成立的中外联合学院，是两所享有国际声誉的中美名校强强联合进行国际化办学的新模式。学院是教育部正式批准的中美大学合作机构层次的五所学院之一，引入了国际一流大学的办学理念、课程体系、师资力量及优质教育资源。融合两校的学术及教育的优势，四川大学匹兹堡学院致力于提供先进的工程教育。匹兹堡学院开设工业工程、机械设计制造及其自动化、材料科学与工程三个本科专业。学院按照匹兹堡大学工学院的课程设置用全英文进行授课，并从2015年开始招生。

TheFinancialAdministratorisresponsibleforaccountingandbudgetaryoperationsintheInstitute.ThispositionservesasafinancialinterfacebetweentheInstituteandexternalentities,especiallywiththeUniversity’sfinancedepartment.AsamemberoftheInstitute’sadministrativegroup,heorshemayneedtoworkwithotheradministratorsfornon-financerelatedactivities.
